January Reads

I didn’t get off to the fastest start in Jan. I’m back at work doing full duties after a phased return and while this is a huge milestone I’m proud to have achieved, it’s one that took away a bit of me time in favour of getting my head round everything again (and extra sleep!) BUT the nice thing here is even in a crazy month, I still definitely made time for me.

Books read in Jan:

The Man Who Died Twice – Richard Osman

The Salt Path – Raynor Winn

Confessions of a Bookseller – Shaun Blythell

Both of You – Adele Parks

Special shout-outs to The Man Who Died Twice (a book I begged Santa for and was not disappointed) and The Salt Path, a story of persistence, struggle and victory on your own terms. The Bookshop in Wigtown is a super lovely place. I did not get the pleasure of meeting Shaun but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit last May.

January Literary Raspberry goes to Both of You which even an excellent twist did not save for me
